Moving to Poland from the UK. Want to teach English, my Polish is average

Hi all,

This is my first of probably what will be many posts on this site as I am considering a move to Poland to teach English. After looking through the forums i can see that this is quite a hot topic so i wont ask an open ended question for you all to try and answer in vein. I'd just like to know peoples experiences in this, whether anyone has any advice really.
My circumstances are that I have a Polish girlfriend who i have been with nearly 5 years who suggested that i may be quite good at it. Obviously after i get my CELTA certificate. I don't have a degree in English but am a native speaker of 21 years :) My Polish is average but can easily be improved.

Any advice or stories of your experiences would be greatly appreciated.
