opportunities for architects in Wroclaw?

hello,

what are the possibilities for architects in poland? would i have any chance of finding work in a city such as Wroclaw?

i have also a good background in graphics, any chance of finding work there?

how would i actually go about looking for work? should i be contacting the firms directly, speak to an agency, look out for adverts?

I know nothing about the profession.

But: The university here has various departments of architecture.

The phone book will probably list quite a few companies.

I would think that a portfolio/photos of completed projects would work wonders, alongside your CV.

i am in the same situation and looking for a job as an architect in wro... there is a little difference which is i am already in wro and i ve sent my cv to some places (which i am still waiting for a reply)

it ld be great if anyone can give some advice or company names which can hire staff without speaking polish.. : )

You are sure that an architect in Poland has a similiar job profile to one in the UK ?

Hi I am an Architectural Technician/Technologist graduate based in Wroclaw, I had a job - pending on the Irish investor signing with the Polish Architect - I have been waiting for word since janaury the 2nd this year - no news yet and am looking around ever since..

It would be nice to keep in-touch and let each other know how the search for employment is going?

I will send you an Architectural Companies address in Wroclaw during the week who have3 told me on the phone that they are always looking for architects,
