I have been asked to help somebody prepare for the English part of their Matura. Can anyone shed any light on the oral part of this exam? What conversational topics are covered? Are there any good websites that can help me prepare?

Rob.

There are three types of situations and a picture. Students are required to carry out the instructions (in Polish, unfortunately) to the situations, describe the picture and answer two questions to it. Topics are versatile.

You`d better get yourself a book called Repetytorium maturalne. There are many available:

There are two types of exam. The easy ... and the difficult. The Oral Exam is slightly different in each case.

For everything else I agree with pawian.

i prepare students for matura and i have the same book as shown above. Comparing, describing 2 pictures is common (I'm fed up of hearing.. "in this picture I can see..." but it is the normal starter sentence apparently!) and giving directions etc. I agree with what was written above too :P
