Work permit regarding change of workplace

Hi all!

I'm currently experiencing a change of workplace in Poland as a non-EU citizen. I hold residence permit for Poland and old work permit for my previous company.

Now I have a new job and need to do a new work permit for my future company.

I understand that it's the company's duty to apply for the work permit, but they are just as confused as me regarding what would be the process.

We tried to call local voiwodaship, but the line is ALL the time busy. When it finally got through, they didn't appear to be very helpful and said that everything is on the website and that's all.

I understand the whole process of applying for a work permit, but can anybody explain to me if it's any difference regarding my situation (hold temporary residence permit and work permit for previous company)?
