Work permit & Resident card

Hi all, My work visa and resident card will expire in 50days So, am wondering if I should prolong my work visa first or I can apply new work visa and new resident card at the same time? What are the procedures to get this done? Do you know where i can download the form for Resident Card application? Thanks. D_anderson
