To whom? I've never heard this before.... do you live in the boonies or something? Maybe Pensyltucky

No need to be defensive Fisz. I guess you carry an American passport but you still feel Polish. It's fine with me but if you're an American you should know how most of Americans feel about Poles maybe with the exception of Chicago where you're probably come from. I don't say I share this opinion but you can't be surprised that there're people, like for example John, who don't like Poles. Many people on this Polish forum crack on Americans and this is OK, right but when it comes to say something negative about Poles you all guys go frenzy. Well if Poles can crack on other people it should be OK for us to crack on Poles. I believe it's fair enough.

No. We're the chosen people and can crack on everyone else, but you can't crack on us.

Not a case of being an idiot, but simply thinking about the place we live in being invaded by 2 million Poles in less that 3 yrs.

Its the biggest influx of immigrants in 300 years, its worrying.

We already have an over crowded transport network in London, housing shortage, huge waiting time to get an appointment to see you local GP... there are plenty of other problems you get with mass immigration, now the Romanians, and Bulgarians are at it too. There seems to be some serious problems and dire consequenses to follow with Labours descision to allow new EU members in from the former Soviet bloc.

Ireland is the second top destination amongst Poles, and Sweden just behind. If as teh government had said they expected about 13,000 per annum it would not have been an issue.

Yes many Poles have come here and many have returned. The actual floating population of Poles in the UK is estimated at 600,000.Unlike certain other immigrant groups the Poles seem happy to come here to work hard and pay taxes etc.Millions of British people have left the UK because they think life is paradise in Australia,New Zealand,Canada,USA etc (many get a shock once they live there) so we need workers to replace them. The only people I hear complain about the Poles are the jealous people-mostly those British people who don,t understand hard work and want everything handed to them on a plate.

Having lived in the UK over the past 30 years I have seen a lot happen both socially and economically. Due to lack of a strict immigration policy, the quality of life and living conditions have gone worse.

Immigrants who are from an uncivilised society are more likely to cause havoc, as we are seeing with the likes of the Albanians, who are in to sex trafficking, violent gang culture, fraud etc.

The last wave of immigrants just tipped it over the edge!

I think Poles generally have a bad attitude, they are rude and their manners could do with improving. Of course you will always get a good few, but generally speaking I have not been impressed with the masses.

Looks like Poles are generally viewed in a bad way all across the world, hmmm, I wonder why?

Improve yourselves and then comment about others such as Africans, Pakis and Asians

Oh really?

It's all well and good extolling the virtues of the hard-working Pole, but we have several Polish nationals living close to my area and believe me they are a far cry from the romantic vision that is being portrayed here. None of them work, they tend to drink a lot and are infamous for starting fights in local pubs and at least two have been reprimanded by the local constabulary for overtly directing racial slurs in the street towards blacks and asians.
While I do not believe that all Poles are like this, It should be pointed out that not all the new migrants entering the UK are here to work hard and integrate. Some may have been criminals back in the old country and you can bet they will happily carry on such behaviour here.
