i live in the new york city vicinity at the moment, and i moved to california last summer.....i would suggest if you're looking for any work in the us, and you're that young, do it through camp america. you can work at a summer camp, a few of my friends have done it....and you end up making little profit in the end, but atleast you get to travel and experience a different country for a bit. but if you want to make money, i think the best deal is to try for it within the EU.

I read this whole thread.There are prople in here giving you good advice.There is no way that you can support yourself on babsitter wages. You are very succeptable to fall into the hands of perverts and drug dealers. I lived in America all my life. Yes it is a wonderful place to live. But please be careful.
