Welcome to this site. What cruiseline did you work for? I took my first cruise last summer from Hawaii to Tahiti and it was wonderful. It was on that cruise where I met my Polish friend. I enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I'm taking another cruise in February to the Carribean. I would love to do an Alaskan Cruise someday. I'm sure it was beautiful!

Merry Christmas to you, also!

Hello Ranj,FISZ and bpss. Ranj-im working in the PRINCESS-Cruises lines, maybe you too.Im back from Island Princess. This is hard work-7 days-12 hrs a day,no day off,but is something beautiful in this job.Every day you must use eng. language, you meet people from all over the world, eat everything what they preaper, and see fantastic new landscapes.I hate crew alert.:) FISZ-this is my the best recipe-wake up 12o clock-go to the shop for bread, rolls and beers(most important),later.............and sleep again. You knew better?:)

Hej Marynarz! I want to see the pictures too! Haven't been to Alaska yet, but it's in my future.
I was on a Carnival Cruise to Bahamas. It was super great. Eat all the time, watch movies, swim, do wahtever you want. Always thought it would be a neat job.

That's the Cruiseline my friend works on. He was on the Tahitian Princess when I was there. I believe his next contract will be on the Star Princess (he starts in January 2007), at least that's what he was told when his contract ended in August.

Do you know what ship you want to work on next? Do you have a choice or are you waiting to see if you get another contract?

No he is a waiter. I'll be on the Star Princess from Feb. 24-March 3. You will have to let me know what ship you are assigned to. I believe it is the Royal Princess that starts it's maiden voyage in April.

In what part of Poland do you live?

Thank you marynarz. Poland has the best arabian horses in the world. I would love to see their horse events. When you find out what cruise ship you'll be on, I will get everyone here on the forum a ticket to be there.
That's of course when I win that #@*&^% lottery.

I would love to go on a cruise but my hubby gets very sea sick even with medication. A few years ago while in Florida on vacation we went on a one day cruise and I had a blast but my poor hubby was sick as a dog.

Do you get time off in Alaska? I'd love that...you'd end up seeing me in a helicopter heading for the peaks of those beautiful mountains. It's my dream snowboard destination.....Valdez
