terenowanie is offroading!

Anyways it will be Oct 13th 14th, in Pacific Beach, CA

I work for the festival and i'm pretty sure i'm allowed to copy the text off our website... THANKS ANYWAYS admin....

Anyways, there is always a BEER GARDEN with fresh IMPORTED Okocim!!! Tons of cold beer!!

The food there is delicious, and there will be tons of polish dancing / comedy.

This is not your typical Polish Festival... more like a POLISH PARTY!!!

For location, please google "Polish mission 92109"

Nice, something in California! I'll be there if I can get time off work. Sounds fun. :)

It's the best festival ever.... i've been to festivals in Poland, Toronto, Los Angeles.... none of them even come close. The Los Angeles "Bazar" was the most utterly boring event i've ever attended....

I'm telling you guys, if you like to party and have fun, come to the San Diego Festival! Especially Saturday - as there will be after-parties galore.

I'll try to get some pictures from past events to give you an idea....

I hope to see all you!!!

It sounds like alot of younger people go there. Maybe that's why it's more fun?

Yes. It is located in a neighborhood known for young party goers. People usually stumble upon the festival and join in the beer drinking fun, it gets pretty wild near the beer garden and behind the church,

but all ages are there.... you can bring your kids to play games or you can bring your elderly parents to sit and eat polish food while they watch the stage

its free to get in

Arrgghhh...
I just moved across the country from there 2 months ago!
Never saw any international type stuff while I was there unless it was for Mexico. That'd been nice. Looks like fun.

I was at Pacific Beach a couple of months ago. It's definitely a lively town. The beach is great. I didn't realize there were Polish events going on there, either.

The Los Angeles "Bazar"

I went there today. It was fun, minus the exception of running into the Polish ex-boyfriend there.

It's rather small. It's held at a Polish church called, Our Lady of The Bright Mount. The only pic I have from there today, is a postcard of Our Lady Of Czestochowa.

I didn't stay long. I felt uncomfortable seeing the ex-boyfriend and his UCLA colleagues there.

There was plenty of Okocim at the beverage stand. I bought kielbasa and kapusta to go.
They gave me so much food; I have enough to last for days!

My sister lives there. They have a Polish church but not many Polish stores. Not as many Poles as in Chicago though.

Hopefully my damn leg heals before then. I've got a terrible knee sprain.

Please take some pics of the festival. Doesn't look like I'll make it this year. My leg is finally healing. I don't want to mess it up again.

If anyone is going, I'd also really like to see how it went, if there are pictures. I can't afford the trip down from L.A. right now, and I get paid on the 15th of every month, so I'm screwed. :( I was looking forward to going, but I'll definitely make it next time. :)
