Somebody should finally teach him how to kick the ball straight.

Who cares how he kicks the ball? As long as he looks good in doing so...

;)

Just kidding. :)

He does make some hideous errors. But then he seems to redeem himself with some amazing saves...

He had his own 10 minutes of highlights in ESPN during world Cup. It was called Boruc against the world. That's just amazing because they never talk about football/soccer on ESPN, let alone the Polish team.

Not a present player in The UK.

Jerzy Dudek. I was there in Istanbul in 2005 when he saved from Shevchenko. That miracle save and the penalties.

Keep an eye on Lukasz Fabianski, he plays for Arsenal London, and will be a BIG star soon..

Boruc... Celtic fans in Glasgow call him the holy goalie, after he got into trouble for blessing himself when playing against Rangers (protestant club and Celtic's main rivals).

Cracking goalkeeper, think he'll be off to a big club like Man United / Real Madrid etc at the end of the season.

Poland has no big football stars, but their goalkeepers are among the best :)
Boruc is the 5th most expensive goalkeeper in the world and is, for me, one of the best.
Kuszczak is really good too, i'm waiting for a regular season to be able to say more about him.
Fabianski is young, and yet good :)

Celtic are already planning for his departure. They are set to sign at least one, possibly two goalkeepers in January. Rysard Gorski and Shay Given (Newcastle) are the ones they are looking at. They already have a good scottish goalkeeper in Mark Brown so that would indicate to me that Boruc is for the off.

To be honest, he is at the peak of his value just now, if they hold off into next season his value will drop the closer he gets to the end of his contract.

In saying that I would hate to lose him as him, Buffon (Italy) and Cech (Czech) are the 3 best keepers in the world right now.

Yeah he's supposed to leave Glasgow, but there are not serious offers yet, are they ?...
Milan AC was interested a few months ago but Dida signed another contract, so don't know...Arsenal seems to be interested too...

Rysard Gorski

Polish ?... :)

Shay Given used to be good, don't know what he's worth now.

I think Boruc is the best goalkeeper for the moment, but Kuszczak has more potential, a little bit more than Fabianski, who will be playing in the Arsenal first squad only in a couple of years.
Anyway, Leo's choice for Euro 2008 is going to be hard to make...

And Dudek wants to be back for the Euro...he wants to leave Real Madrid and play regularly in another club, cause apparently Leo told him that he would choose him if he plays enough...sounds weird, doesn't it ? Dudek has not played for 2 years...

Thats the team's fault, not his. Celtic's defenders are awful. Boruc has made some incredible saves against the very top teams in the world (AC Milan/Man United etc). I can see him ending up at one of the top teams. I'm not saying I have great contacts at Celtic but from what I hear they are looking at £10-£14 million in transfer fees for him at the end of the season.

To Polson, Gorski is indeed polish but has played in lower divisions in scotland. Given has been at Newcastle too long and stagnated. He won't cost the earth to buy.

I wouldn't bet on that. Arsenal are openly looking for keepers...

Not the most popular thing to say, but i fully agree. Kuszczak skill wise is better and has always been better. We really won't know how good Boruc really is until he leaves Celtic for a team in one of the top leagues.

Fabianski played well as Arsenal beat Blackburn 3-2 to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup ... Arsenal fielded a weakened team but still managed to win , even after they were reduced to 10 men !
