PZPN is elected by people who elected people to elect PZPN. But if the local governement prefers to build another shopping mall than a soccer field because a 100K city doesn't have one yet - there is something wrong with it, isn't it? You can go to Germany or Skandinavia to see and learn from them. Then don't feel sorry again when another Podolski or Klose play for another national team than Polish.

Podolski and Klose aren't Polish? So they were born and lived for 10+ years where? Hint: in Poland. But their familes had to immigrate to Germany for a better life so that their kids had a chance to play not on a farmers potato fields but on the real soccer fields. I don't do anything other than discussing in my country because we have soccer fields and kids are educated from their early childhood.

So fuck off to your wonerful homeland and stop sticking pins in my nation! And thaks we dont need advices form moronic foreigner who knows fuck all about Poland.

Get your facts right about Podolski and Klose right before you start discussion.

I suspect that you came here to show that polish ppl are "silly" and are not"using their heads" and it was your real aim coming here.

MORON.

Magic Zurwiski is a fantasty player! As a Celtic fan i think he Polands best player..

Also Boruc is a great keeper. 2nd best in the Uk behind Peter Cech.

Podolski and Klose were born in Poland, to polish parents. In the mundial they were considered, specially Podolski, a german hero. He was before the captain of the Koln group at the age of 20! A MIRACLE striker boy who constantly appeared in the press.

FOr me he was kind of a gold ambassador of Poland in Germany because although POland has given nothing to him (he came to germany at the age of 2), he always remarked in any interview about his roots and emphasized the good aspects of the polish way of life. Believe me, when thousands of viewers in Germany hear this from a star boy it does matter! Specially because we do not have a wonderful image in Germany.

So it really makes me sad when I hear polish people who see him as a traitor for playing for Germany. Did you know that he WAS interested in playing for Poland but nobody in POland was interested to call him? Did you know that he was the only "german" who exchanged his shirt at the end of the match with a polish player?

You may say I cannot be objective because I spent almost all my life in Spain, since I was a child, but many people who emigrat from Poland for a long time they are still very attached to the land of their parents...and many have the dream to come back...

Jelen for sure. I don't think Auxerre would cope without him, amazing player.

I think Boruc has a chance to definately play in the premiership (it's easy to go from Ireland league to British league); I don't think Barcelona would be interested now though. He's still young for a goalkeeper (I think he's 26/27). On the other hand, the Irish league isn't very demanding so first he needs to play a good season or two in a stronger league to think about Barcelona.

I thnik that Boruc is best polish player right now. Blaszczykowski is rising star and i hope that he will be playing in some really good teams in nearest future. Anyway we do not have got really big stars in our national team, but their skills are pretty good ( Zurawski, Smolarek, Blaszczykowski, Boruc, Jelen, Matusiak...)
