Hillary...

Shes a real devious Biatch, should be right at home here especially as this was where Monica Lewinsky came from.

None. I say that because they will still only have American interests at heart and continue to suport Isreal. That means more Polish troops will die in the Middle East.

I am a firm believer that it is a good idea to have one leader for a long time, build stability and maybe, just maybe, they will do some of the things they promised. Changing all the time is no good and Politicians always lie.

Maggy Thatcher. Privatise a few companies, send the boys off to settle the score with Ukraine and totally revamp the whole "Bribe to get what you want" structure. Raise taxes on untaxable income, any body caught TAX evading immidietly sentenced to 1 year on the front line is a good start.

Ohh and any man caught bribing Doctors to avoid national service should be racked.

I thought Grzegorz had already won.

Or was that just the more important contest in recent times?

For Poland specifically? Probably Obama. He'll be non interventionist. From the consensus I can feel around here you don't want a missle shield that will antagonize the Russians, right? He'll probably scratch that stuff. Too expensive any way. Plus, he'll probably waive visa restrictions on you. He wants to open up Cuba so it's logical. If the damn French, English can get in here no problems , you should be able to too. Including the Czechs and my people the Slovaks. Slavs are a lot bigger friends to the US than the English and French.. and they've proven this here of late. They are harder working and just as smart.

I have a bad feeling that we (USA) are screwed in this election, no matter how it ends. How could any of these people be "good" for Poland? They haven't really said much about Europe....all the talk has been focused on what to do about Iraq.

:(

McCain is lets say the least bad for Polands situation. I don't trust anyone of them, but the democrats in the run? wankers!

None of the candidates spoke directly about Poland. From my point of view McCain is a religious-for-show type that does nothing and isn't veracious (vide his "fishing" photo), Obama at least knows what he is talking about and has done some real stuff in the past. Clinton is just a show woman with a good name, but IMO Madonna would make a better show.

Besides, the results are already leaked: http://www.theonion.com/content/video/diebold_accidentally_leaks

Huh?? WHat 'real stuff' has Obama done in the past? The whole point about him is that he hasn't done anything - nothing he has done in government suggests the qualifications of a chief executive. Post Bush, I think US needs a lot more than these feeble-headed mediocrities. No originality, nothing but words. At least Obama doesn't need speech writers I guess...
