It never fails to Amaze me how many people Think London is the answer to their dreams.
When in Reality. It's a Sewer. Full of Ignorant people who talk stupidly.
And Rush round everywhere.

It Disgustingly Expensive to live there too.
Im British by birth. And would NEVER live in London.
In Warrington I met Many Polish People.
A lot of Young couples Who found work.
Yes it can be a Lil tedious.
But at least the cost of living here. Is affordable. )

Try looking away from London. To other towns.

I couldn't agree more!

London is great if you have a really good job, as I did. The pace is fast, but for those fortunate enough to have highly skilled jobs, it has its rewards.

For anyone coming to the UK, the North of England/Scotland is by far the best place to be, because that's where the ordinary jobs are, and the cost of living is a third or less of that in London.

Still waiting.

Applied criminology. You mean they didn't accept you straight away.

No, fair play to you, a friend of mine did criminology, she did her disertation on the german cannibal. Tough course.

Yeh I'll be straight too it is a tough course. I'm certainly finding it challenging. Hope your friend passes, really.

The debt for student fees are off-putting too but what else to do.

I went to Chester, not quite as elustrious! Nice place, great fun but i know the debt we get saddled with is rediculous. I reckon i'll be dead long before student loans ever get the whole sum back!

haha I agree with you. Now you must earn 15000 per annum before you start paying back, and even then you must only pay back 30 quid per month. AND if you live and work abroad and not earning 15K you pay nothing.

cut and run.

What did you study Huegel?

My hat goes off to anyone who passes a degree, its bloody not easy.

ddint fall though did we

er ROYAL NAVY MATE stronger than USA navy, check mate bye

Are you implying that Luftwaffe was stopped by your Royal Navy rather than by RAF during the BOB?

Quoting: manser, Post #189
Struggled with what? we stopped hitler dyuring BOB with defeatign their air force, sicne when has Poland won a war? haha

never.

Actually during it’s existence Poland won a lot of wars for example with countries like: Germany, Sweden, Czech, Turkey, Teutonic Knights, Russia, etc… Our history is pretty interesting, so I recommend any historic book regarding my country.

Eng. Lit and German and believe me the third (fourth in my case) year is the hardest, no late night parties that's for sure.

edit sorry mate, didn't see your other posts. Crazy is the word i'd use. They want you to study, but at the same time, almost cripple you financially for the pleasure. Almost like they only want the ones that can afford it, to get on in life.

Case of words not matching actions, as always with governments.

There is a genuine debate over how big a part the RAF played in the ‘Battle of Britain’, basically there’s a feeling the contribution of the navy has been ignored, but really it’s just arguing over detail.

Agree with your other comments Mat [OK if I call you that?], Poland’s history is fascinating and I am but a novice in the subject- the more I learn the more I am amazed by the resilience of the Polish people.

Maty er no, I was implying the strength of ouir Royal Navy during the WW2 period. Germnay stood no chance of invading us.

Polands war and battle victories is still way off UK's victories. For a start Poland had no empire. win already. not to mention UK defeated a superpower, known as Spain back in the 1500's, navy victory wise.

Hey Mincer [that’s your name isn’t it?], the British Navy was built by the Tudors, and they spoke Welsh, because they were Welsh- and without the Navy there would have been no British Empire, so the success of the British in the last millennium is entirely down to a bunch of foreigners coming over from Iberia [think Portugal] and sticking around long enough so people like you can brag about their efforts even though you played no success in making it happen.

To everyone else, can I just apologise for Mincer, he knows not what he does.

Yeh I guess British sailors like LORD Nelson played no part either in Britains Navy success, .............I think the guys in the white coats called for you welshy.
