what would you like to know - I didn't know you were seriously interested. BTW - are you in Australia right now?
My observations could be tinted a bit since I am a Polish citizen and lived there m ost of my adult life - I went to visit my family there and it was nice.
Newspapers are still great, TV is not so bad, too much politics and heated discussions, bit on teh other hand it's a nice change from Canadian aloofness and almost indifferance about what's going on in the world. Polish people in general have passion for politics and not only the one regarding Poland. I have met a lot of people who travel really far places and are not interested in package vacations. The strange thing I found that i had to flash my passoport when crossing the border between Germany and Poland
Food is still great and an evarage Polish woman would be a chef in Canada - they are really good cooks.
real eastate is booming since Poland joined teh EU.
When was teh last time you were there if you don't mind me asking?

what polish people are thinking

they serioulsy religious - some of them at least. The Bsp Wielgus scandal was a big thing in Poland when I was there and I have seen some serious verbal fights. I, for one wouldn't worry about it since I have some distance and I usuallywait for results of scandals since there is always somebody behind puling the strings - but tha's me. It seems that Polish people are not able to put things in perspective at times and that caused them to make decisions nased on emotions. Real estate is going up and from what I have noticed there is a lot of manipulation going on in that department. Madia help with that a lot. There is also a fear of Russia present due to it's unpredictable politics.
