Boating on Polish lakes

Hey all,
Are there any rules about sailing or using a (small) motorboat on the lakes?
Specially the lakes in the Pomorski area?

Are you allowed to use a motorboat at all? If so, what engine size?
Is renting a boat for the day possible at some places?

Hello Cosmo.....i am an Englishman living in the very area you speak about....I have been told by Polish friends that on most lakes you can only use non powered craft , but i believe that the lake in Czaplinek allows motor boats....I can check this out for you if you like , as i work not so far from there.....

yeah, depends.. motors are limited.

Unless you have a skipper's licence, you can't drive anything more powerful than 6 horse power.
