Hi!

I was wondering about depilatories. Do Polish women save/wax their body hairs?
Do they depilate there legs, armpits, bikini? And how about men?

I wanna be prepared when coming to Poland :)

They surely do use them (women). Men - the younger generation use them too.

save

What? Like - save it in a bag or in a box, just in case it comes in handy one rainy day?

We never shave, every spring we have contests who has the longest arm-pit hair.
Just kidding.
I've seen many women in Poland with hairy legs and furry arm-pits, usually the ones that work in the fields and don't really care what others think. But most women shave their stupid legs and ugly arm-pits.

Hello,

I am a student from University of Belgium and I have to write a paper about exporting a depilatories to Poland. All written reports from market research companies are to expensive to buy.
So I have some questions:
1. In general, do most women use razor to shave their legs armpit or bikini or do they wax it?
2. Which products are now generally sold in Poland to remove body hair? Are there a lot of products?
3. Where do people buy this, grocery store, drug store?
4. What is the average price and how much are people willing to pay?
5. Is there a special opinion about body hair and depilatories in Poland?

Kind regards,

Charlotte

Their husbands do it for them.
Till now I have found only one polish woman with hair on her hips. She was intellectual type. But the sensitive area is not always smooth as in Czech Republic.
You should bring some scissors when you come to Poland.

I suppose if you wash it at too high a temperature, it might get a fluffy, linty texture which could possibly be shaved, but I wouldn't ever advise shaving your clothes, especially bikinis or other items of swimwear. They will rather quickly become threadbare.
