Hello everyone,
I stumbled upon this site while looking for Polish recipes and thought I would add my2 cents.
I am a retired Data Processing professional of over 30 yrs. experience starting when computers were programmed with wire boards and ending with PCs. I am 2nd generation US of Polish parents. My grand parents came to America in the 1890s. Sorry to say I don't know much of my ancestry beyond that. I can, or rather could, read, write and speak Russian, but not Polish. Polish was not spoken in my home, a real shame, I, resultingly, could not really converse with my grandparents who really coudn't speak English, so I lost a lot.
I am very proud of my Polish ancestry and Poland's contributions to western civilization. The internet has given me access to Polish history etc. that I wouldn't otherwise have,
You can tell I like to talk and it occurred to me I better shutup. Thanks for listening.
