quality of life fresh air nice people culture good home cooked food

do you think it is so easy for a man to move and start a new life abroad for such simple reasons? may i ask you what work is waiting for you , are everything already prepared for you to move and start working and make your living, or you take on consideration the risk of disappointment and getting stuck in a land that for you will always remain stranger as much as it will be always friendly.

ok i see your point , firstly it,s about quality of life im leaving here to go to a place where i am a minority and imigrant if u like , Ive been half way around the globe and seen a lot and done a lot i expect to be alone a small minority , i hardly speak much polish and i have slight advantage than most the wife to be is from krakov and has come to britain as many do looking for a new life only to find a hecktic city full of people who are nasty , she comes from a quiet country namely poland , she came here expspecting things to be better but even she can see the uk is not a good place to live , im a grown man so i have lived here for many years , im not arfraid of work be it cleaning toilets or driving a bus Ive already been out to poland and i think that life would be better there than in my own country i exspect things to be a little strange , langauge food people , but im a great beliver in faith and if u try and have a little work hard things can be done , but here i dont belive that to be the case , In poland i have a job offer and a 3 bed apartment that will belongs to us , food is cheaper in fact everythings cheaper , learning polish is the only thing i need to focus on i have lived in other countrys in the past and understand things are not the same thats why i wanna leave the uk . i have a slight advantage as the mrs has family there and her brother runs a successful buisness and has 5 shops ,, like i said its about learning the language

Im british myself and i intend on moving to krakov

Wayman123:
to go and live a better quality of life more quiet less people and more pleasent people thats how i view poland

I am in a very similar situation, as I plan to move with my family (wife was born in Poland) to Krakow late 2009 if all goes to plan.

my wife is from Wroclaw, and fortunately I can speak Polish fluently as can our 2 kids who are 6yrs and 4 yrs of age.

Good luck with learning the language :o)

Let us know how you get on .....if you like you can send me an email; it would be good to chat with someone who's got similar plans :o)

I'm in Poland nearly every month; I'm in Warsaw next weekend for my God-daughter's first communion and hopefully in Krakow sometime in June/July.

All the best :o)

I am a brit about to move to Poland (Gdynia) however, i am moving there to work hard and lead a more enjoyable life....Im not moving there out of spite.

I believe that In relaxing imigration laws our government have undoubted enriched our lives here in England, exposing us to all of the intresting and new posibilities that different cultures bring to our areas.
