This is very disgraceful to Serbs. It is the region that symbolizes their struggle for independance and freedom.

Suppose it's wrong example, those were the remains of Plantagenet's pride, but they were not Brits but Nothern French.

Well, bombing? And how about pretty slaughter. In this case you won't have an object to bomb. Just guerillas

Sure he was, but he assume the role of Edward III, who was not only Plantagenet but also Capet, though has some rights for his patrimony. Neither one nore the second was Henry, moreover even in opinion of many his tribesmen he was just usurper.

Because your war crimes were not tried does not mean they did not occur.

Moscow Diary: Under surveillance
As a British-Russian row rumbles on, the BBC's James Rodgers considers whether it signifies a deeper Russian suspicion of foreigners and their ideas. His diary is published fortnightly.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7202261.stm

This row had been coming for a while. There is an extra clue for anyone arriving in Russia at Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

Above the baggage carousel, there is a notice from Russian customs informing passengers of things they are not allowed to bring into the country.

Along with the usual warnings about drugs, plants, and foodstuffs, it says "cultural values".

I assume this is a mistranslation of the Russian, which might better be rendered as "objects of cultural value", but it may be a sign that post-Soviet Russia really has had enough of foreigners and their ideas.

I think that Russia has had enough of looking after its satellites such as Poland for so long after the war. Russia suffered dreadfully in World War 2 and it is understandable that Russia is suspicious of the West. Even after hostilities finished, Stalin had to arrange train convoys taking Polish people back to Siberia to be reunited with their loved ones at huge personal cost. Re uniting people was one of the biggest problems faced by the allies after the war. Give the poor Russians a break for once. It can not all have been bad, otherwise the Lenin shipyards in Gdańsk would not have been named after Lenin in the first place and many ships were build there and were then even given free to Russia as a present for services rendered during those very dark days before liberation in 1945.

After World War 2, there were millions of displaced people and Russia did its bit in reuniting these families against great adversity.

It will be interesting to see how far Russia will go in it's support of Serbia...Isn't Germany one of the prime EU movers behind this 'liberation' of Kosovo?...who controls Germany?...the Russians have big money deals with the Germans in the works involving natural gas, pipelines etc...the Russians are interested in money right now, number 1...we will see how this plays out...I was listening to Radio Netherlands last night, and they, as always, sling crap at the Serbs...this seems to reflect a general 'European' attitude on this issue...they make attempts to bribe Serbia with 'promises' of EU membership...a difficult situation for Serbs, to say the least.
