Hey everyone, just wondering if there are any sorta 19-25's Brits living out here in Warsaw?

Would be nice to meet up and have a drink sometime

Been to ALL the expat bars but the crowd is much older, occasionally get some younger guys/girls in but 99% of the time for a stag or hen do!

Anyway look forward to hearing from you!

here is my myspace myspace.com/thegoldenman or just drop me an email

Where do you live and which country are you from?

if you want to meet younger expats try Frogs & Co they consist of guys from 17-45 from all sorts of nationalities, but all speak English. Don't worry if you don't play rugby, it is more of a social thing, there are many non playing members. Check their website frogsco dot pl

There are several rugby teams in the area, but I am not aware of any expat teams up there.

yup, I'm sure you're uni teachers CELTA courses, probably within the Eng.dept.
Check it out, if they do get yourself a TEFL and the world of travelling and teaching is your oyster.

Zion... i have lived here for around 1 year and 6 months!
Freedom..... It is a very different life out here but it is really great! i have no plans to ever go back to UK. I can understand quite a lot of polish but find it very hard to speak nevermind hold a conversation!
I think if you want a change in life then it is a good option to come and try warsaw. If you havea degree you should not have a problem getting a job in a company ran by English speaking people.

cheers!

Hi people, I am moving to Warsaw mid-January for an unspecified amount of time :) I am half Polish so speak the lingo pretty well (am up for giving people conversation classes/lessons if they like!) but my main language is English (as you can probably tell..) Would be good to meet up with some other English native speakers once I'm there. Although I have been to Warsaw many many times I don't know it's nightlife at all well.

Cheers :)

Hi everyone,
I'm 19, and am going to be living in Warsaw on and off for the next few years. I'm having some difficulty meeting fellow expats, any suggestions on good places to meet people?

Hi, I'm not that young anymore either, 28 that is. German originally but lived in scotland and ireland for quite some time. Thinking of moving to Warsaw myself but it seems harder to find a decent job with no polish than I thought it would be.

If anyone knows of companies hiring without polish can you please write it here or pm me?

Thanks a lot for your help

btw @caley jags i support st. mirren and travel over regularly so if it works out we might be able to watch the odd spl game and rant about the sfa together if is shown anywhere in warsaw is :)
