Bush administration taking over the nation using "directives" - possible?

From how I understand, Bush can at any time tell the nation he is a dictator and takes over the USA including all states, and overpowers all laws including congress and nobody can do anything about it? It should not be difficult to plant a bomb on a strategic US factory or military unit, blame the terrorists, cancel the next presidential elections and rule the nation by "directives"? How impossible is this? Or it's just paranoia and too much coffee for me today? But what would such unlimited power be for?

Yes: quite possible...but not without bloodshed...at the present, these are merely 'directives' that Bush signed...he is under the influence of the same types of folks who have designed the Israeli police-state measures...but the so-called 'democratic' USA has been under attack since the staged 9-11 'event'.

Bush has apparently signed a Northern American Union comprising Canada, the USA and Mexico. He is proposing chips which are to be introduced in May 2008. Bush is just extending his control freak behaviour. Let's just hope he doesn't drop a bomb on Iran as a parting shot. I don't see it happening.
