Changing address of residence at revenue office.

I need help on this issue. My australian mate has just moved flats in the same town. He still remains registered at his in-laws flat. They have changed their address at the revenue office. So he is asking how he is going to explain the 2 addresses in His Woiwodeship office when he gets a Tax clearance letter from the revenue office later this year for his citizenship application. Won't they bother him with questions like why his registered address is different from the one on the Tax clearance letter?
