I've been in the clothing industry ... and I can say that we (Poles) increasingly buy from India, Bangladesh and China. However, its always better to use the skilled support of someone who is in Poland and got connections in those countries ... only that way you can have a proper control over your business dealings, and progress in a smooth fashion.

The best option? The many students of these countries come and study in the Polish universities, and start business with Polish partners to be consultants or agents etc ... aiding such businesses.

Always better to minimize risks...

Personally I would always prefer someone with a working family structure in Poland, such people are more responsible and with better ethics. Know who you deal with, whether Polish or an immigrant Polish (from those manufacturing countries).

Big Star is a 100% Polish Company. I know it because, the buying house I used to work with in Bangladesh supplies Millions of T-Shirts to Big Star for years. We also made some jeans and other knit wears for Big Star too. They have many stores all over the Europe.

Currently I am the owner of a my very own buying house and doing orders from EU countries and USA. Any queries regarding Ready Made Garments are welcomed.

The Polish buyers I know, always contact directly to the local buying house of Bangladesh. They never used any mediator or third party to do their orders. I don't know about other countries (India, China) but from my experience in Bangladesh, they always contact directly and visit our local factories rather than using skilled support of someone who is in Poland and got connections in our country

Alberto Ceramica pants are made in Poland and they are the best pants I have ever owned. Pretty expensive $190/pair, but I have worn them almost daily (different colors of course) for 5 years and they are perfect still. Looking for a better way to buy them (cheaper).
