Import a car to Poland from a Eu country - how i calculate tax and extra cost?

Hi, i want to buy a car in Sweden (EU-member) for ca 2500 euro and give it to my girlfriend in Poland.

But i find it difficult to find information about how i do this and how much it will cost me in tax and so on.

The car is registred and ok with Swedish plates. And i will drive it down to Katowice.

How is the procedure? What must i think extra about? How i calculate?

All ideas and experience is welcome.

Hello, I have almost the same question... I'm looking for a company who can import to Poland a car from Germany and sell it to me under a leasing contract... Any help would be greatly apreciated. Regards, STef
