Importing a Motorcycle to Poland. Tax and legal requirements?

I'm thinking of importing a motorbike to Poland (from the EU). Does anyone know the tax, legal requirements to do it? Alternatively, could I insure a UK/German motorcycle here without registering it? Triumph Sprint 1050, 2007 model, so not new.

Its no problem to register and insure a British bike in Poland.... you will need a Polish friend to help you through the tricky bits tho....

wildrover: Its no problem to register and insure a British bike in Poland.... you will need a Polish friend to help you through the tricky bits tho.... You need no Polish friend for that. Just go through the bureaucratic process and be patient (a lot), and fork out cash for translating.
