Legal services in Poland

It is a truism that each business needs professional care. Towards recent years, the commercial cooperation and trade between foreign countries and Poland are increasing permanently. For instance, many British people run their businesses in Cracow or Warsaw.
Therefore, in order to faciliate them their activity, numerous Polish lawyers are at their disposal. And what is your opinion? Are you an entrepreneur who runs or is willing to govern business in Poland? What are your experiences from the polish market.

Given the relatively high potential to get into wrangles, I'm surprised that lawyers are not used as often as they should be. How popular are Alternative Dispute Resolution and out-of-court settlements? Does Poland offer a legal service akin to the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in the UK?

Er, anyone care to elaborate what the topic question actually is? If a lawyer really wrote this I, for one, will not be instructing them. In a lawyer, I need a sharp, forensic and concise mind - not this complete bloody mess.

Good God no! The lawyers would never agree. They'd lose all the pointless form filling, perpetually adjourned hearings and reams of wnioski. All billed by the hour.

Legal procedures are inherently protracted but I used the services of one, who just so happened to be an ex-student of mine :) We had many excellent legal discussions (spicier topics). My LLM means I was more on the academic side of things (way back) but he almost put me to sleep with some of the more practical elements. I couldn't imagine waking up in the morning to go and deal with conveyancing or revenue law documents. These are true lawyers services here and beyond. That's why being a lawyer was never going to be my calling. I tip my hat to their staying power when delivering such services to clients.
