hello
a piece of advice would be very much appreciated here.
I am translating a pile of documents in a fraud case and there is one thing that puzzles me. I can see spelling mistakes in a certificate of incorporation, or rather in what was meant to look like a certificate of incorporation, as I suspect. I have never seen such sloppy mistakes in important documents that are created based on templates anyway. Let me quote a portion of the document exactly the way it is spelled:

"Given at companieds House,cardiff,the 21th sep 2006"

"companieds" instead of "companies", no spaces after commas, "cardiff" typed in small letters, "september" typed in small letters..
This can't be a real document, can it?

I wouldn't have much faith in a company which produced a document like that. Seems like it has already been translated from a foreign language into English (Bad English) I would have thought a genuine company would have had it proof-read before release too.

No, absolutely not. It wouldn't be approved by Companies House in the UK with mistakes like that.

Thank you,
I typed the company registration number into the search engine and a website appeared where they published a warning that the identity of this company has been compromised. Things are pretty obvious now. I wonder though how come Polish people are so naive and fall prey to such unprofessional thieves. Everybody knows the word "companies". Such a shame...
