Or maybe it's summer holidays time and many people are away?!

Anyway, you want to know how to export to UK, so your main concern is probably UK import laws, not Polish export laws.
So you should search for advice on a forum called "Business in UK", I guess.

I guess it's more difficult and more paperwork needed to get permission for import of alcoholic beverages.

I don't think it's actually that difficult - you just have to sort out the payment of excise duties when the stuff is imported. There's things such as bonded warehouses where the goods can be stored upon importation without duty being payable - but when they're removed, you have to pay.

I would have thought that the major Polish brands were already in the UK, seeing as Tyskie is distributed by S&N and Zwyiec is distributed by Heiniken and Bosman is linked to Carlsberg.

i guess i'm sort of repeating what LondonChick has already said, there are so many Polish beers out here already that you really don't need to do any more exporting, that is of course unless your looking to fill a specific space in the market that you have identified is not yet satisfied???

space in the market

There can never be to much Zywiec around. ;) Tyskie, on the other hand, is more difficult to understand why people like so much.

Yes there most certainly can. In fact there is far far too much of it around Warsaw. Zywiec isn't even the third best beer made by Grupa Zywiec!

I have no idea I just saw it at tesco'a and took a picture, should have bought a can really or atleast checked the price. If it tasted bad I could have always used it for my fish batter. I wonder if it really is Polish beer, brewed especially for the market?

I'll buy a can next time.

I volunteer to be official taster and marker. As long as someone else goes to Tescitz to pick up the samples. I don't do the dark side;)

When we are using this forum we don't need to ask how to import export Polish beer to UK, basically, if some one is expert and doing business of import export knows every thing. Polish beer's history is very long, and if you want to know there are some people who love Polish beer and if they love they must be involve in it. Please go to british-food-drink-export.co.uk and you will know how people are dedicated to tell every secret of export. if you are not satisfied the go to britishfooddrinkexport.com if still want something more than go to sabmiller, carlsbeg and heineken websites they will tell you how to do business of import export of Polish beer.

If still there is something more you want to understand or you think there is a secret, then send an email to ukexport@lat-uk.co.uk and you will get all the secret for FREE.

Please use this forum for information only bot for questions.
