TAXES for Foreigner (UK) living in Poland

Just a quick question on taxes in Poland.
Is there high income tax?

I’m a Merchant Seaman looking to buy an appartment in Poland, and I’d be out of the country for 220+ days per year, and my employers are not based in Poland (they’re just over the border, in Germany).

My hope is is that the Polish Government would, in my case, spare me the brunt of high income tax.

Here's a fairly accurate calculator.

The Czech Republic would be a better choice. Tax rates top out at 15%.

Buying a apartment in Poland does not make you a Polish resident.

If it's your primary place of residence, it does for tax purposes...regardless of the 183 day rule.

So he needs a tax consultant then.

It sounds like he wants to take up residency in Poland.

The thread is titled, TAXES for Foreigner (UK) living in Poland, so I would guess that is his concern. But you know yourself, convex it is better to pay a little money and speak to a expert, rather than take the word of someone you do not know on a forum.
