Interesting read, thanks for posting, not bad English either, well done.

But, isn't it a little bearish if I'm reading the stats correctly, eg unemployment up ... 2010 12,4% 2011 12,5% 2012 13,4% (13.2% H1 2013) unless it's just come down a lot and I missed that in the text during my quick browse. Is that good news for an investor? ie more choice of candidates? Then there's the DD, it seems to be down. Isn't that a bit negative and possibly deflationary, as borne out by the price of goods and services growth index (as shown, also down quite a bit). Wages seem to be up though, by about 10% in 2-3 years which is quite a leap. I guess those lucky enough to have jobs are managing OK, which is why I see lots of new cars on the roads and more new flats selling than I had expected.

Well, no doubt if I'm misreading it on my quick skim, someone will put me straight :o)

Happy to oblige, a relief to see there are others on the forum who appreciate such data.

With regards to the 'not bad English either" comment, were you referring to KPMG or myself Old Bean?
