golddigger, in my opinion, buying a hotel in 2011 is somewhat false economy, you have Euro 2012, just around the corner, any hotel owner in Poland will be demanding a premium ahead of Euro 2012. It would be better to buy after the summer of 2013 at discount.

1 mil pln in...

6/7 mil pln worth of hotel...

Wants 30% of the shares in exchange, if I got that part correctly ( not William Shakespeare, the thread starter ).

Sounds like a deal of a lifetime, really.

There are banks in Poland nowadays, as well as mezzanine lenders, that will offer by far better terms for a working, though cash-strapped company. And in such a case one doesn't end up with a "partner" one has to share profits with.

If I recall correctly one bank ( Getin? Lukas? ) recently advertised up to 1 mil pln for a working company without mortgage. So...

This is how I read it Midas, OP has 1 Mil, would like to find another partner with a Mil to buy a hotel valued at 6-7 Mil, therefore the two Mil, will make approx 30% deposit.

As I said, the guy's English makes it difficult to understand what he's really looking for, I was under the impression he was looking to purchase a stake from someone who already has a hotel. Never had much reading skill when it came to very broken English, sorry.

But assuming it goes along Your route it might be a fair offer, depending on how shares get split and what gets put in the company statute.

I'd probably go for it if the hotel would be in Lodzkie, Mazowieckie or Malopolskie, but I always adhered to the policy of not doing business with people if I can't understand what the hell they're talking about and TS seems like he falls under that category.

The original poster is a fool called Deepak and you'd do better to go into business with a random drunk from the central station than with Deepak.

I was informed today, there is a community of 1,200 Indians, living in Warsaw. Seems a bit on the high side to me, although Indians restaurants are springing up in many areas.

That number wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact I'd say it is a little bit low. I mean you don't see one Indian for every twenty Vietnamese you see but there are 25,000 Vietnamese in Warsaw.

Deepak

Deepak Malhotra is a bizarre character indeed it would seem.....makes a habit of visiting restaurants (Specifically Indian) and then slating them mercilessly.

Has even gone to the effort of creating blogs and putting a single post up berating the establishment.

That sounds about right. Quite a large Indian community in Raszyn.
