Ola, let's get it right, don't you mean your mate is off to do a job cleaning toilets in an abattoir for less than the minimum wage?.. judging by your mentality I don't even think that you would qualify for a job as important as that, you might get lucky if you were willing work in the dog food factory as chief taster.

USA!!!USA!!! and by the way its called capitalism dumbass. you do realize that thats the way a free market works. an economy expands and grows with the flow of money through goods and services. So when british buy in poland and then sell in poland they are in fact, helping the economy

It depends.

It reminds me of a joke a Jewish friend of mine told me:

Itzhak accepted a bet of $100 that he'll pay Moshe if he eats a pile of crap. The bet went through, the crap was eaten the $100 changed hands. Now, the Itzhak who lost the $100 felt a little poorer so they made a bet again, but this time the Moshe was to pay up if the Itzhak ate crap too. Again, the bet worked and $100 went back to its original owner.

Struck by a moment of reflection, Itzhak remarked, "you know Moshe, we both ate a pile of crap each and in the end we are where we were without eating it."
"I know", replied Moshe. "But at least we kept the economy going".

It seems a lot of Poles can't get their head around capitalism, not surprising after spending 3 generations under communism.

I'm british, have bought a flat, and a house, a car and various other things. It has all been very easy. I have lived here for 10 years and am very happy. Thank you. By the way, I'm selling the flat in Krakow, so if you want to buy it (centre, view of Mariacki Church, 9000/m2!)

Ola sounds like you have a hatred for Brits, if so what are you doing in UK? seems that you are Racist. It's tough for a lot of people currently no matter where you live in EU and other countries are worse off than us. I lived throughout the seventies in UK and even though we had very little or no prospects, we still managed to survive. Wouldn't even have dreamt that we would ever have owned our own homes in those days, even to own a car was a big thing then. So less of the F*ck you brits we are gonna steal your jobs and your homes attitude. You gotta get along with people in this world in order to have success in living in it.
