Scotland Vs Italy 18.00 CET Saturday 17th November
If you don't already know (and all scots will) we have a crunch almost 'winner takes all' game against italy in Glasgow in a couple of weeks. The game is live on Polsat Sport and will finish 1/2 an hour before Poland's big game against Belgium. The chances of us winning are low, however we have had so many good results in the qualifying group and we have hope! It would be great to share the rollercoaster of emotions that we may well endure during this match with a fellow Scot if possible.
The usual port of call for these games seems to be The Highlander or The Irish Pub Guinness. However i have been going to this seemingly untitled sports bar, whom some locals call 'Warka' after the beer of course - due to the fact that its logo is all over the place. The bar is on Ul. Pawla. Wlodkowica (excuse the lack of polish symbols folks!!) street. They have 4 widescreen TV's and a big projection screen at the back - beer is only 5 zloty too. I'm a regular there now it seems the best place for watching football.
Only problem is that towards the end of the game it will get busy with Polish people arriving for the Belgium match - and they usually reserve seats too. Hence i am thinking of reserving some good seats for the game myself if enough scots (or scot supporting polish folk) fancy watching the game. I've no idea how much it costs but i'll find out later this week.
Reply to this message if you fancy it!!
Cheers
