calls from england to norway via polish mobile -error in connection

error in connection calling from uk to polish mobile number-to norway

calls to my bf who is in norway has his polish mobile number with him dont connect. the texts go through.

its a pay as you go sim he has

can any one help

Text him and find out a land line number for him in Norway - a hotel or office or mate's house? Then use a cheap line like 0844 calls to call him there.

yep have asked for alternative- he has tried calling me from his mobile -cuts out- had a 5sec connection to his phone last week-



just wondered is this a common problem with some of the polish networks.

i have asked various companies .they suugest
1.no roaming availabe
2.insufficeint money on phone to connect calls-

I wonder if the fact that its a PAYG that's causing the problem - bear in mind that it costs to receive calls when you're overseas.

what about texts sometimes they are free to receive?

texts are like the UK except instead of 10p they are charged at 25p per message from EU countries

With all mobiles that are on the PAYG tariff you are charged in the UK and where the person is for making the call if phoning .... so not advisable

even on contract unless you are on a tariff that allows free calls in your monthly allowance you are charged UK and EU costs to receive and make the call

if on doubt speak to you network provider.

is this right ? if i sent a text to say spain from england i would be chareged 10p for sending it and the person in spain would be charged for receving it 10p or 25p?
