Hi. 0844-numbers are not included to free minutes any more. However,there is a better deal. You can make calls from mobile phone via normal mobile number,which will start 078.... Moreover,for every spent minute you can get 2 pence on your account.When you abroad incoming call for u will cost 1-3 pence.Many other benefits,i can not explain all.No monthly contract needed.No hidden charges.I promise you will not regret. You need to send a text "Noodle Britain " to 81025. They will contact you and give a number. Only you will have access to this number.
Alternatively,if you have an internet, go on vvww.justvoip.com .You can call from computer to Polish landline for free. Both methods work well.

I have been using pocketdialuk.com where it is only 2 pence per minute. The line is good quality:

Dial 0844 838 6099 then the number in Poland (starting with 0048)

Try getting a Black card (phone card sold in many Asian newsagents etc). The ads are usually aimed at calls to india etc, but have excellent rate to Poland (landline and mobile) cards cost £5 and have Hundreds of minutes of call time

i think the easiest way to call home from poland or anywhere is with skype. im always using it, and if family members have it, its free. dont fall for those special promotion cards, they still arent that cheap.

I migrated to UK in summer of 2007 and miss home very much. I just wanted to share with you the service i frequently use to keep in touch with home. I am using Adepto Telecom as they offer calls overseas for less than 0.3 GBP per minute using your PC, wap enabled mobile or just a landline or simple mobile. Here is their site: adeptotele.com

I have been using calling cards before but it is really expensive to use cards.

Anyway, remember home and family and do not feel lonely - keep a lifeline with home.

Hi there, using adepto telecom you can make calls from your mobile to uk mobile using wap :-) or web based callback to connect your call for so cheap price? Just google adepto telecom... I hope this helps.

There's an "international Call Checker" on moneysavingexpert.com that allows you to compare numbers like 0844 etc. and you can also find out numbers to use for calling mobiles.

I buy the UK & International Phonecard from the Post Office. A £5 one lasts for 2hrs 20 mins when you call a Polish landline, plus now in December every Sunday you can call a landline in Poland and you can speak as long as you want just for 15 pence everytime you dial. Cheap!
