So you can make Taste of Polonia in Chicago? Take aAmtrak to Chicago, I do from Macomb, where do you live, I live near Quincy Il.

I've never rode the train before... might take longer than in a car--I live near Minneapolis

I just might be able to make it... I cannot guarantee.. it would have worked out better to go this weekend because I got Monday off for a "birthday day"

yeah, that's about 6-7 hrs drive (but a very nice one), especially thru Wisconsin.

Taste of Polonia is end Aug, beg Sept. So would be nice, from Quicny I am 5 hour drive to Chicago and 3 by train, train is much faster and only $18, can not buy gas for that ride.

No is not, I hate driving, i fly or take the train.

Is so inexpensive. They are roomy, comfortable, and you feel like you are traveling on air.

I can take a car drive anytime. At least, I get to stop and a hug a tree on the way.

I love the Blues...I am from the South(Louisiana) originally...I was wanting someone to go to the Blues fest with me...send me a private message and let me know when you're going. So much to see here in Chicago

I went last night to see B.B. King and was totally dissapointed, he kept stopping
in the middle of his songs to talk about the Democratic party.
I came to a music festival not a political rally!
About every 5 minutes theres some Black person asking me for money or a
cigarette, beer whatever they can try to get off you.

Theres alot of Blues clubs on the Northside that are good :)

Let me know when you want to go hear some blues, ok? Chicago has alot of blues...but their blues is a little different than where i come from in the south...

No, I am here in Chicago. I was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Texas after college. All of my family is in Louisiana. I just moved to Chicago from Texas because of a job offer I could NOT refuse, lol
