Smoking...
F..k everyone who says it kills you. Nobody will live forever, so who cares.
I've got so much memories, only good memories with smoking cigarettes. A smoke right after the first time having sex, call me anyhow you want, but this is the felling that no man will ever forget. I've met so many people in clubs, most of them are my good friends till now. Few beers, couple hours talking about everything, many 20's sent to heaven playing pool. Many times, when i was writing my poems, i've just turned on music, light the cigarette and needed nothing more to get it done.
If that will kill me, i will thank with all my heart (even if everything inside me will be black mass of cancer) for every single minute of that.

try to hide his cigarettes and you'll see...

no he seriously doesnt "need" it for an addiction... i have walking pneumonia so for the past month or so he hasnt smoked at home or in the car, only when at work. its no big deal to him...
when i was pregnant last year i told him he was not allowed to smoke at all, again no big deal he literally didnt smoke (we worked together at that point at the same office so i know he wasnt smoking at work or anything lol). it wasnt a big deal to him cause he respected mine and our childs health (then when we lost the baby we both started smoking, but as soon as i got over it i got over smoking too)

he just does it cause he can.

Ha ha! Enjoy your smoke....safe in the knowledge that health statistics for smokers are EXCELLENT!...You are far less likely to die of an age related illness!!

In the meantime Darius...will leave you to it, really, cause I can see you're getting over-defensive, and I remember oh so well being exactly so defensive of my precious precious friend Nicotine.....

But...I can see clearly now the smoke has gone......(come on, cheer up, sing along!!!)....

Oh, and just for the record...I'm STILL SMOKING IN BED!!! And just incase you don't get it...cause you appear to have misinterpreted one or two things I've said ...what I mean is...I have never smoked cigarettes in bed, or cigars, weed, or any other substance.....Just so you know....I'm just so damn HOT!! And with the lethargy gone, and the oxygen levels firing on all cylinders....Man, I'm even HOTTER! ;0)) xx

PS....on a softer note...did you know that smoking causes impotency in men? That, as your arteries clog, and blood flow is reduced...you just can't keep the blood flowing where it's needed any more....as I said...on a SOFTER note!!

Smoking has always been a dreadful problem in Poland and is caused by the stress of life and their general working class position. They smoke rubbish too because they can not afford the import quality tabbaco either. Everybody smokes like chimneys in Poland and this is one cause of huge numbers of premature deaths from coronary heart disease in the country. Towards the end of the Communist era, they tried to help Poland in promoting health issues but again, Poland just fell by the way side. Poland would do well to listen to Russia's warnings about over indulging in both vodka consumption and smoking.

Im just saying that, life is killing us anyways, so who really cares about statistics. I known people that died from lung cancer at the age of 30, didn't smoked a single cigarette whole life. And i know many who have now 70-90 years, smoking like hell and still being more healthy then most non-smokers at the age of 30. Statistics are just statistics. Acording to statistics 1 in 3 people on our planet are asians, why? Cause statistics tells that, do you belive in that? Yes you do. Its a fact. But if you see 3 guys walking down the street do you think one of them is asian? Don't think so. One of them could be, but does he have to be, just cause some chart says so? No.

Same to smoking, yeah it's not healthy, but you'll die anyway. If you dont smoke do you have less chance to get a lung cancer? Maybe. But "maybe" is just "maybe".
It's easy to belive in numbers, but life is more complicated then few numbers in a chart.

OK....nobody who smokes really believes that smoking kills...well, not them anyway...and no way will smoking cause impotence in you, will it?? So, you got nothing to worry about, have you?? Enjoy your fags! I'm off for a run with my dogs!

I didn't said smoking won't kill anyone, didn't said it's not causing impotence or lung cancer. I just said that if you just look at the charts you wont really get the picture. Stats are just stats. If some chart would say you have a 70% chance of getting hit by a car would you stay in home for the rest of your life just because you read some numbers? Honestly, i don't think so.

NO....but you might be sensible enough to stay off the roads??? Doh! Off for my run....if I don't respond again, maybe I got trampled by a wildboar? Or squashed by a stray meteorite...

That is the whole point in what im trying to say. If you smoke maybe you have more chance of getting a lung cancer etc... But does it mean you will get it? By all means, no, it doesn't.
If i assume you believe in god, and god has a 99.99999999 to infinity chance of not existing according to the way you think i should say you have to stop believing in him, cause it's just nonsense.
As i said before, stats are nothing more then stats. It can help you know this or that, but it wont help you get the whole picture.

I live in a house of smokers, know it does me no good. Waking up in the morning and getting a nice lungful is not a great way to start the day.

Just came back from a few days in Wroclaw and i have a hearty cough. Got the same after i came back from Poznan in November. Not good as i am rarely ever ill. The smokey atmosphere in bars and clubs really effects us Brits now we have the no smoking bans in place and arent used to taking in someones second hand smoke.

For a minute I was beginning to think everyone else on this forum thought smoking was ok.....

Yes, I do believe in God...your stats are way out though, but even if the odds were stacked against his existence, I would have NOTHING to lose by believing in Him, and EVERYTHING to gain if I was right...

With smoking the reverse is true...the odds are stacked in favour of smoking seriously damaging your health...so you have EVERYTHING to Lose by smoking, and NOTHING to gain!!

And if I play "chicken" on the M25 does it mean I will get hit by a car and killed....no, not necessarily...but why would I want to when I have NOTHING to gain from it?? And I would be seriously risking losing EVERYTHING??? WHY?

Just to put your mind at rest....I didnt get trampled by a wildboar, nor struck by a stray meteorite...but I have strained my ankle!!!! (It's ok, you can laugh!!) (Cause my lungs are fine!)

I ALWAYS been "fit"! Smoking or non smoking! ;0)
And I have no problem with anyone who wants to continue smoking...I just can't afford to any longer...whether i want to or not (which if you want total honesty, i would sell my soul for a fag sometimes, that's if I hadn't already sold it in the 80's!)....but I've only got one set of lungs!!

Some people don't fear death, which doesn't make smokers idiots.

It's gay as hack to post some infos about impotence hah, it's obvious that not every smoker will have such problems. Smoking sucks anyway because you smell bad and it's not cool to kiss smoker at all.

Yes, it is a major turn off when a girl smokes, and when she smells like smoke when you are kissing them. I myself only smoke cigars, once in a while ( : No cigarettes.
