This clay pidgeon shooting seems to be so wastefull of life....I mean they don,t even eat them after they have shot them , they just leave the broken bodies where they fall....Why kill them if you don,t want to eat them , its such a waste.....

It's obvious that you (Wildrover) are somewhat ignorant of what Clay Shooting is all about.
Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap are shooting games that shoot round objects made of an oil base clay material. They are not alive. Repeat: They are not alive.

Hunting on the other hand is probably the oldest sport after sex.

I shoot Clays, Trap and Skeet. Right now in Pennsylvania the small game season is in full swing. New Jersey's small game season (Quail and Pheasants) will begin on 10 November. I'll be using my 20 gauge shotguns. I'll post some pictures if I can figure out how to do it.

WHICH KIND OF GAME IS THAT

SPORTING CLAYS is a shotgun discipline.
It is one where you shoot at a variety of different clays, flying at different angles, in combinations of singles, doubles (pairs, true pairs or pairs on report), and from different positions (or stands). You normally shoot 5 or 10 shots from one stand & then move on to another.
"Pair on report" means that upon the sound (Or report)of your first shot, the second clay is released for you to shoot at.
This sport is designed to simulate wild bird/rabbit shooting.
It is Great fun & can be practiced by anyone; Women, Children, Disabled people, Men.
Check out the C.P.S.A. Website for more info, or just ask.

Ye Gods!
I too, shoot a beretta, but not so fancy as this.
Trouble is, in England, post Michael Ryan & the Hungerford massacre, 'they' only trust us with a magazine capacity of two cartridges; this gives us three shots, two in the mag & one in the breech, so such fantastic trick-shooting is definitely the preserve of Americans.
Wow, I want one!
