Pierwszy: Do multi-storey car parks exist in Poland? I did not see any in Kraków. But if they do exist...
Może 'multi-storey car park' po polsku jest 'parking wielopiętrowy'?
There are three cars in the car park = Są trzy samochody na parkingu (I think).
'Parking' is an unenclosed space. A multi-storey car park is, to my way of thinking, an ENCLOSED space. So would 'in a multi-storey car park' use ' w + Locative case'?

They do.

I'd say 'parking wielopoziomowy' but your version seems ok too.

czarnykot:

Correct. Or maybe "Na parkingu są trzy samochody" sounds a bit more Polish... Depends on what you want to stress - the cars or the car park.

No. Saying 'w parkingu' sounds clumsy and unnatural. 'Na parkingu' is the correct version, no matter if it's an enclosed or unenclosed space.

"Na parkingu są trzy samochody"

Dziękuję za odpowiedź. So a Pole would say: 'Na parkingu wielopoziomowym są trzy samochody' and only 'Na parkingu...' if the context was clear

True, but it's very easy at the advanced level (unlike English which is easy for beginners and very difficult for advanced learners).
