England is poised to become the most crowded nation in Europe, according to official figures.

The number of people crammed into each square mile is due to overtake levels in Holland and Belgium - and may already have done so.

Nice article but why do u worry about England noimmigration? Aren't u Scottish? They have a govt who has the power to make changes. I am not anti-English by any stretch but it's good 2 c them on the back foot and they need to get off their asses and do sth. This is not Scotland's problem, YET!!

The problem lies in the exercising of rights. Poles have a right to come to England. We can only reshape the domestic framework but still must remain within the confines of EU Law. Again noimmigration, why do u worry so much about England's problems? U r studying Scots Law and hope to pave a career along those paths so why does the plight of England interest u so much? Make some action plans and send them to the relevant MP according to democratic process. U should feel safe, I'm unaware of any Poles holding high positions within the realm of Scots Law

what affects england will affect us, our rights must come before poles. The french and germans have a right to work here but they dont take advantage of those rights by coming here in numbers rounding of near one million.

I agree that, as Brits, it is first and foremost our country but we must accept the agreements we have signed. We still have the right to work. What rights of ours do u feel have been diluted?

our politicians signed it not us, they wont even let us have a referendum on wether we want to be in the eu.

since when has it been acceptable to migrate in hundreds of hundreds of thousands to one country disrgeding the infrastructure and capabilities of that country to sustain endless immigration and then say oh well thats their "rights"

It is their right to freely move within the EU with certain restrictions only. It comes down to decency more but many people are opportunistic and will use the options that they see they have. Why did many people go to America? For the same reasons. I know what u r saying noimmigration and I dislike mass immigration too but it's a modern day reality for Brits. It may trigger a return to traditionally British values and ways to strengthen our collective identity. As I said, things can happen from within to curb the growing numbers if need be

Why not campaign for a referendum then? You will find lots of people with yer views on the Combat 18/follow follow/BNP/ websites. Who knows, maybe you could rise to be their next leader, sort of like a cross between Alf Garnett and Oswold Moseley.

In the meantime why not form a vigilante group of Buckfast commando's in the Lanarkshire area, targetting anyone who looks 'a bit foreign', especially anyone wearing camouflage trousers that sleeps in toilets.

I know its crowded, it always was and will get even more so but pinning it on just the Poles is not kosher

hang n a minute, the british population has a declining birth rate, migrants are swarming into britain in their thousands and having on average nearly twice as many children as british natives.

Immense pressure has been felt in every part of britians infrastructure from public services to social structure.

nearly one million poles have moved to britain in the last two years, I would say restrictions are vital to protecting britains future, ESPECIALLY restrictions on the poles.

Noimmigration has a point here!! I know that, in Scotland, some couples used to have 4 children but 2 seems to be the maximum these days for fear of running out of cash. The social system has been put to the sword somewhat and people who pay NI contributions feel worried. I can tell noimmigration that many Poles are becoming more aware of registration processes. 3 million Poles, over half the population of Scotland, haven't renewed/updated their ID cards which they MUST do or face imprisonment. They can't get credit and will be denied jobs until they get it from the local urząd miasta. Signs are showing that more Poles intend to claim JSA as getting a job can be a time-consuming process. When they register, it will place some strain on the state

Thread attached on merging:
where did poles in uk get their xmas dinner ????????

Three roadsign-style warnings were launched yesterday to stop Eastern European immigrants from spearing, taking home and cooking coarse fish from our rivers, lakes and canals.

Every day I am feeling we are being sent back to the middle ages with eastern europeans breaking laws and such

Read that article (think I read it months ago when it was written) so now you're claiming that "poaching" is an entirely new thing in the UK and has only started with the arrival of Polish people.

Heaven help anyone who ends up with you as their lawyer...

People keep on focusing on the Poles - but what about the Africans that seem to be coming here by the boat load with less chance of returning to their countries and more chance of coming here with aids and thats not an ignorant statement, thats a fact.

There are already restrictions on non eu immigrants, not to mention a points based system being introduced next year. The gvernment has also banned unskilled immigration from outside the eu.
