Cracovia v Wisla

Through unlucky/bad planning, I shall be returning to Krakow and the local derby is taking place. Having seen the Ross Kemp documentary on Polish hooliganism, and read other warnings, it seems that this is not the best place to go. I did go to a Cracovia game last year and saw no problems but obviously this is a different kettle of piranha.

Therefore, we intend to go to say Katowice for a game.

Anyone have any tips etc re: the above.

..and you have to know. There's a alliance between few football clubs. If you talking about Wisla then alliance is:
Wisla Krakow - Slask Wroclaw - Lechia Gdansk - Motor Lublin - Banik Ostrava (Czech Republic)

How would you get a ticket for a game like Wisla vs. Cracovia? The athmosphere must be great apart from a few causing trouble obviously

and Jagiellonia bialystok.

A way to get a ticket would be by buying it at their club store. It would be hard to get a ticket before the game.

I think Corona Kielce is looking a good bet.

Katowice isn't in the first division, however Chorzow and Sosnowiec are. Which is pretty much the same area. Personally I'd pick Chorzow because they are doing better in the league, but Sosnowiec just took down Legia last weekend.

We've now thought about Corona Kielce so we can travel up to Warsaw.
However, thanks for the tips on Chorzow and Sosnowiec. Still possible.

As Liverpool may be in the semis of the Euro Champs, we may have to fly home early!

Last year it was not possible to buy Korona tickets on game day. They required some ID Korona fan application. They were to ease requirements for it this season but better check it out. Nice stadium in Korona though.

Thanks for the warning. Yes, looking at their site it looks a great stadium. Helps to have a rich owner!
