davidpeake,

I doubt that you'll find a cricket team here. You might find a rugby team connected to the university, I'm not sure. We do have an American Football team, 'the Crew'

Its Ok........David....can't you pretend..the balls the same shape, local Polish people won't be able to tell the difference, well at least initially !!!...lol

I'd safely say, if you got a team together, you'd easily be in the local news....think of the publicity, good vibs!

A team needs someone to play against.

davidpeake,

I don't mind playing, if you start a team. I just hate watching the game.

I will be moving to Poland in about a year, however i'm not going to be in wroclaw. I would love to again start playing cricket or "krykiet" as we Poles call it.

I grew up in australia, so naturally, i'm a gifted cricketer as well!!!!!

What i really want to know is about rugby in pl.

Where is it played, is it popular, what kind of crowd does it attract, is there a big rugby culture? Would love to hear from anyone who lpays rugby in pl.

Hmmm I need to be more online out here...

I am ready... when are we starting the practising. Its quite possible to play with three persons...

I am sure we can pull out some students from the university, I am sure there are a handful of them fromt he cricket playing nations..

I never thought I'd see a thread on cricket in a Polish forum.

God there is always one!!!! I'm not trying to make the minority the rule but you seem to be... we get "maybe maybe" 2 months of snow but even that seems to be less and less in today’s "climate". And, as to "looking outside your window again are there any polish children playing cricket" nope can’t see any! and wouldn’t expect to see any as it is not popular in Poland at all.
