Are you deliberately being obtuse bubba?

no, pictures of hitler accepting flowers from young girls to provide contrast to those we normally see do not offend me to the extent that i have to shout for admin... as a brit, my people might not have suffered under his hands to the extent of poland but my family lost extensively during the war...so no, i dont think i am being obtuse...

i'm a brit too and I live in Hitler's home town. I only need to jump on a bus to Mauthausen concentration camp not 10 mins out of the city in order to witness what an intelligent man he was! I don't need to see staged pictures of him glad handing small children in a poor attempt to show him as some kind of man of the people.

--------

If admin wishes to allow people to post pictures of hitler then that's up to him/them, but the same behavior here in Austria would probably get you a visit from the police.

------

In about 20-50 years when it may be possible for a computer script to determine who is on a picture a member is uploading, we will surely ban such pictures before they are uploaded. But today it's not possible to know that until the picture has actually been uploaded :)

Bubbawoo,

With respect to your family during the war years. You are being very naive when it comes to Poland. Generations of families were wiped off the face of the Earth at the whim of Hitler. But here it might have happened in a single day.
The photo of Hitler accepting flowers adds insut to injury.

yes, quite right... i have spent the past 2 days in berlin and witnessed a group of youths being carted off for raising their right arm in a certain way... germany, and perhaps austria, carry a guilt...

anyway... end of conversation lest i give the wrong impression regarding my feelings towards hitler...

Yes we all know he killed 6 million . After all he didn't have a war to fight or soldiers to feed. Now why is it that any man that had questioned or reaserched these camps in public has been tossed in jail? Any man to publicly add question gets muzzled and hauled off. Aside from reaserchers from IRAN. Germany is under a big guilt trip with ridiculis laws only to kiss ass. But whatever.

Many people have died from causes of war. But yet nobody is laying guilt trips when europes bread basket was robbed of 7 million. We would much rather pass dumb laws that get you thrown in jail for a seig heil in germany or austria. The red army was just as evil as adolph himself.

Yanta,

I think this topic is at an end. And your post makes it pointless entering into a debate, which you have already lost by making your rediculas comments in post 37.

You mean Ukraine ? That's correct, but doesn't make Adolf any better than a little garbage he was.

YOU have nothing to back it up. Whic is why you chose to end this because you have nothing left to argue.

Yes , and yes it dosent make him better. But germany and such should not have to suffer for this mans doings.

The constant guilt trip is the biggest problem. Strange laws passed that make no sense. The lack of freedom of speech.

Yanta,

I have visited the 'Death Camps' and I have raised questions. Sensible questions get sensible answers. Not arrest.
The people who question such places, and I think you are refering to one person who was in the news a year or two ago, deny the figures or simply the reason for such places.
The present laws in Germany show an understanding of the past and are an effort to prevent such things happening in the future.
The Russians have chosen to remember or deal with their past in their own way as have all other countries.

Guilt ? Germany started the worst war in the history, so historically any guilt would be well deserved , on individual level I didn't notice any.

Most of people there don't have anything against these laws, so that's not your business.

Croats and serbs don't share same dna geneaology, croats have unindentified dna, similar to portuguese and iran.serbs are slavs.so we can't mix that nations just because of language.croats were in poland for some time,in white croatia, but were ''passing'' through to adriatic.latest scientific information is that sarmatians were todays croats, because 's' in glagolic is 'h'
sarmatia-harmatia,or harvatia.we call ourselves ''hrvati''
lots of that dna is in great britain, due to the mercenary role of the Sarmatians for Romans in britain.this one is interesting:some english historians John Matthews and Malone claim that king arthur is buried in dalmatia, actually they found his grave,he was called artorius castus.they said ,jokingly that king arthur was more first Croatian king, than English.
best regards to all Poland from Croatia
