Grzegorz_:
It's not that Ham is a bad driver. He's just a twat.
It's quite easy really tornado, if you know nothing on a subject then you just follow the loudest bleat from the media.
People do not like Hamilton because he is so confident and slightly arrogant. Although personally I cannot agree with the latter, because whenever I have seen him interviewed he comes over as a very likeable guy. And you name me one F1 champion who has not been aggressive and arrogant!! You have to go back to the Gentlemen days of Juan Manuel Fangio, Mike Hawthorn, Jack Brabham, and so on, but even they were "assertive"!! :)
What you hear in the media you can take with a pinch of salt, an example was when Hamilton moved to Switzerland to escape the moronic media, then he is invited to Nelson Mandela's birthday gig and is accused of being a hypocrite by the media in, quote, "lapping up the attention along with all the other publicity seekers".
This seems to be a historical fault of our British media, as we seem to love the "almost succeeder's", and take great pride in our sports men and women who nearly got there. Look at Eddy the Eagle, everyone in the world has heard of him because of his failure at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary Canada, because the guy was a joke and couldn't jump in the ski jumping.
And yet when British sports actually succeeds the media slaughters them.
Look at Nigel Mansell, the media was always criticizing him for being a moaner after the Australian GP in 1991, where he twisted his knee and had concussion after he aquaplaned off the track and was angry that the race was not stopped due to the rain. Incidental, the race was stopped after Senna refused to go on because it was so dangerous.
The inexperience of the Polish media with F1 is time and time shown when you read copied material from the British media slating Hamilton. This I find is the reason that people like Grzegorz just criticize Hamilton, because they are incapable of forming an objective opinion due to their low knowledge on the subject.
