Alonso and Ferrari have both denied it.

Pretty convincingly on Alonso's part

Its far-far more likely Kubica will go to Ferrari.

I've just found out I've got free tickets for practice at Silverstone. Hehe, first time in my life I'll get to see a F1 car close up.

Hmmmm, not usually swayed by planet F1 as a lot of their reports are inaccurate, and he is bound to say that as he will not come out and say yes I am will he, but I guess time will tell.

Cool I am jealous, last time I went to a GP was back in 1982 at Brands Hatch, when Niki Lauda won, and Nigel Mansell was driving the Team Lotus car and had to retire out of the race. You could hear the whole crowd grown above the sound of the cars.
Have a great day :O)

Well, Marca quote an Italian paper. Kubica is Ferraris first choice, Alonso is second..

I watched that race on TV. F1 was better in those days.

I wish people would get over the obsession with Ferrari. Sure they win, but not always, they are a team like any other.

Agreed, but a big name like Ferrari with the money they have will always attract the masses and in my book they are not as proficient as when Ross Brawn was there.
Further to this, there is such little difference between Ferrari, BMW, and McLaren this year (apart from the obvious that some cars more suit different tracks), and it is more down to driver skill; this is witnessed in the difference between Kubica and Heidfeld with Kubica getting more out of the BMW, and Alonso blasting the Renault to almost breaking point.

And a bit of info for you peterweg for your visit to Silverstone, mind you if you are going on your bike it shouldn't be a problem. highways.gov.uk/news/pressrelease.aspx?pressreleaseid=161563 :O)

Well thats the thing isn't it? Nazi Mosley and Ecclestone have engineered F1 to attract viewers and Ferrari are the only racing team most people know. So they go without a win for 17 years, then win several years on the trot. That got so boring they helped Renault win.

Thanks for that info. How the situation with bikes will be handled will have to be seen.

What a joke this Canadian circuit is, Hamilton builds a good lead and then just because they cannot pick a car up they bring out the safety car. Even in Monaco with the problems that they have with space they still manage to cope, and the track there doesn't fall apart like it is at the Canadian circuit. It's about time they reviewed this place Grrrrrr

Speechless

The only consolation is look who he hit, but I must admit it was stupid driving.
Why the fukc was the red light on anyway. That's the first time I have seen it on in a race.

Can someone explain why the red light was on, as I missed the crash and I was watching it on German TV?

Yeah the slight problem is that Heidfeld is a one stopper and Kubica needs to pit again, and he has 10 laps to build a lead.

Alonso out.... whoops!!
