Same thing with the foreskin over the rest of the penis with a erection it's pulled back revealing the thinner, protected more sensitive skin.

In the words of Austin Power...Yer Baby! Im home alone tonight and all this talk has just.............made me want my honey's foreskin even more! Rude I know! :D

Thats what you perceive.

Even with the one I got my brain is usually busy with sex and the pleasure it gives, that is enough :))

We have others things to think and do in life too :)

This is just loosely connected, but this topic made me remember of a documentary I've seen a couple of years ago.

It's about a boy who lost his penis in a circumcision procedure that went wrong. Someone directed his mother to a psychologist who decided the boy should be raised as a girl. Very interesting story.

Here is the Wikipedia info. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Reimer

The movie was probably made in the 90ties. I've just read in Wiki that he committed suicide.

Don't touch my penis.

Besides that is an american phenomenon (along with muslims and jews), never heard of it in Europe.

It's disgusting that most Polish men are uncircumcised

Usually men don't care much about circumcision. Maybe on a moral issue or on a slight benefit or negative level.

But, You seem to be traumatized by Polish foreskin.

By any chance do you love to suck on male genitals & yet hate to suck on male foreskin?

No it's not. Some do some don't. Many of them who do it are jewish and muslims. So not all Americans do it.

So not all Americans do it.

80% of Americans, 30% world wide. It is quite the normal here. Boys who aren't snipped get viciously teased in the gym class showers.

Thats pretty sad (the latter part).

Yeah. So why would anyone want to go and add to that trauma for kids by leaving them unsnipped when everyone else is?

This was true in my day(just before the Earth's crust cooled lol). But now with increased imigration from India, China and South America, things in the gym might not be as harsh.

Exactly, and as the practice declines, so will the teasing.

Well as the one link provided here from Plymouth Meeting, PA claims 80% of American men are circumcised in the last 3 years or so only 30% of newborns have been. It is isn't broken don't fix it ;)

can someone actually answer the question:

Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland?

This is just a generalization on my part... I think most 'white' Catholic countries do not practice it
and since on paper Poland one of the most Catholic countries it fits?

because you would have to pay for it - secondly many people would think you are a Jew and Jews don't have good opinnion in Poland generally - thirdly as PennBoy said why fix something that is not broken - maybe circumicision makes sense in hotter climates but little in Poland

Typial Leftist activist mindset... change the world to our liking, reality be damned. :s

Actually, it seems most of the world is already intact, and it is you who wants to keep things to your liking.

Less people here in the States are doing it now anyway. Things are naturally changing with more knowledge and the desire to let this be the man's decision. I know of several men who were left intact and they were glad the choice was up to them. None suffered immeasurably in the gym locker rooms.

No reason to look down on Poland in particular as the USA was one of the few places with a wide practice. Everyone will have their preferences. Nothing to worry about one way or another.

As another poster said, most of us ladies are happy when we are with a man we love, and his package can be any style. It's the man. Not the tool.

I'll put it more brutally: if the Jews do it, we won't...There I said it.

It's not sth I've ever heard from anyone in 7 years here. They can't see the need for it and it just isn't a part of the culture. Why not? Well, it just hasn't creeped in. I see plenty oral hygiene equipment so that does the trick.

What about Polish Tatars?

Muslims are also encouraged to be circumcised as part of the same covenant that the Jews have, though it is not as much of an obligation and there are discussions within Islamic circles about this.

wrong.
Believe me or not but the US does not represent "civilized world" as this map shows.

Looks like all of Europe us under 20% circumcised except for Muslim Bosnia and Albania. The drastic drop of newborn babies here in the States getting circumcised means Europeans were right about not getting it done.

The fact remains that people in Poland don't like messing around with bodies for no good reason.

In Poland, I had never seen so many bizarre haircuts and crazy hair coloring jobs. i.e., the 70 year old woman with purple hair or the middle aged woman with bright red hair. not highlighted...pure red.

i noticed my fair share of anorexic women in Poland.

countless juice heads walking around with arms bigger than their thighs.

none of these fall under the category, "messing around with bodies for no good reason"?

just because Poles don't clip their rocket flaps doesn't warrant that kind of generalization.

No, none of them.

Building up muscles at the gym or getting a bright hairdo are not messing around - just temporary fashion statements. And I doubt you saw that many women who have a diagnosis of anorexia either, unless you were visiting a hospital - here in Europe we tend to be quite slim compared to certain other less healthy countries - you shouldn't confuse being slim with havi8ng a serious illness.

Circumcision of infants is however non-consensual mutilation for no good reason.

Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland?

I've always thought it the result of cooler climate. When you look where the circumcision originated and has been practiced for centuries you will also see that the hot climate and lack of hygiene could have had something to do with that. Removing the foreskin kept the tip cleaner and thus prevented the infections. The church probably jumped it at some point to scare people into doing this or going to hell, and with the time it became a religious procedure. Poland is a cold country, so the infections could not have been this much of a problem, so they didn't do it.

I think circumsision is not practiced in Poland for several reasons... to answer admins question

1) Why should it? We are not jewish

2) We are not jewish, in Catholicism we are taught that our body is our temple.. given to us by Jesus Christ the only son of God who suffered and died for all of mankind, and everything he gives us is perfect including our own body. We should never feel ashamed of what God has given to us. God designed the human body to be perfect as it is without any need for modifications or self mutilation and to survive in any environment. And so altering and mutilating our bodies is seen as disrespectful to God. The foreskin actually serves a purpose, it offers protection. If your hair gets dirty does it mean you should shave it off? no thats what water and showers are for and bathing, think of how having a shaved head would be good - other then for cosmetic purposes there is no practicality to shaving a beard or head hair - it exposing you to the sun's UV rays, it makes you colder, and it irritates your skin, and exposes your skin to punishing cold winds that do damage to the skin and make your immune system work harder. Plus sex life is better with circumsized then uncircumsized, it protects the nerves and from calluses and tough skin to build up which will lower sensitivity.

3) I think a lot of Polish people also see it is as strange, cruel, and wierd.

If you can prove to me the benefits of circumsision please show me. I have my dick uncircumsized for 25 years and it hasn't fallen off yet.
