it was a case of it not being right to mix races in the sense of white and black , Asian, Arab etc.

I think it was last year, that The Faroe Islands had a problem with a special disease, which arose due to inbreeding. Meaning the people in Faroe Islands slept to much with each other, which created a weakness in the genes or something.

So, maybe we should mix the races.. Just a thought..

It's only natural. Then again there's only one race - the human race.

I have met different nationalities from around Europe but Polish seem to be obsessed with peoples race.

Personally I don't care. I am married to an East Asian.

I look around me and don't see any group 'on a pedestal'. It's only in your mind.

have only one Polish friend out of many that is obsessed with race. his excuse for this is that he spent many years in the polish army. i cant quite understand his reasoning for this, but he thinks this is quite normal for polish military. he spent time serving in Bosnia, and really dislikes Slovaks, Ukrainians and just about everyone else....however he is unusual amongst my friends . he is a very nice guy but when he starts on the subject of race, we all tell him to shut up. would be interested to know if he is unusual in his thinking, or if people enlisted in the Polish army are just taught to be very wary of other races. he also doesn't like Asians or blacks. for obvious reasons, i don't bring up subject of race with him...

There's not a race of man who hasn't been a slave at one time or another.
BTW, I'm sure you'll find that every African pigmy is proud to be a pigmy and SO IT SHOULD BE.

Isn't everybody in the race, RAT RACE I mean?

Polish people, are in fact the Purest race. Hitler was a hypocrit, who killed his own people. The only reason he killed Polish people is because he was afraid of them. The polish mentality is to live free or die free. Polish people will always rebel against tyrants. The blood and bones of the Polish is thick ! The master race os indeed, The Polish Race, no doubt about it. Its a proven fact that DNA tests show the purest strains in Polish people some other Slavic people. Hope this post helps you. FYI I am Colombian.

Haha, Zodiac, funny post. Are you at least of Polish origin? If not, then it's not only a funny post, but also a surprising one. Or maybe your partner in life is Polish.

There is no such thing as a 'pure race'. Poles are mixed with Czechs, Slovaks, Germans, Ukrainians, Swedes, Tatars, and Transylvanians. To name a few.

And the current situation is not going to change that. With the millions of Poles living abroad, mixing with their 'hosts', and the many workers from around the world settling in Poland.

I wonder what the Polish national football team will look like in 20 years... Marek Johnson passes to Jacek Berg, who finds Dariusz Nguyen...nice dribble, and cross......aaand GOOOAAAAL!!!! Aboubakar Kowalskiii!! Poland 3, Brazil 0. I'm very curious.

Polish Federation has issues with guys that have Polish last names and speak Polish. There is no way in 20 years there would be as much of a change as you describe. Maybe when I'm on my death bed, half the roster will no longer carry a Ski last name.

Fk the editing is annoying. Scratch that post above

Poles wouldn't sell out their children in exchange for commercial sports success. Seeing young white Polish kids with flags painted on their faces cheering for a Non-Pole is a very rare sight for a reason.

And the rare occasions it occurred was downright sickening. We may lose but we lose together. What is the reward in winning when you can't even share it with your own?

Why multiculturalism is about race? Why Boers in the South Africa do not get preferential treatment as a minority? Why black on white murders are not classified as a hate crime in this country?

It is thread about race not Poland.

You said:

in this country?

The man is simply projecting his sexual insecurities onto blacks.

I my experience, what they say is very true.

What is there to challenge or even discuss?

There's nothing to say at all, is there? Racism is all about insecurity.

Obraniak, Perquis, Olisadebe, Boenisch, Guerreiro. That's just for football. You also have Xu Jie, Wang Zeng Yi, and Li Qian (tennis table), Joe McNaull, Jeff Nordgaard, David Logan, and Thomas Kelati (basketball), Arsen Kasabijew (weightlifter), Mamed Chalidow (martial arts), Yared Shegumo (marathon), Stéphane Exartier (skiing), Karolina Szwed-Ørneborg (handball), Jean Boutes, Merab Gabunia, David Chartier, Cédric Vaissière, Léandre Billaud, and Alexandre Beccuau (rugby), Babatunde Aiyegabusi (US football), Rune Holta (speedway). They all represent Poland, how cool ;)

half the roster will no longer carry a Ski last name.

It's already the case I'm afraid. Szczęsny, Glik, Wawrzyniak, Piszczek, Sobiech, Szukała, Krychowiak, Sobota, Nowak, Teodorczyk. Damn all the obcokrajowcy ;)

What's the difference between a little white polish girl cheering for an African and your daughter engaging in an Interracial prnographic film for money?

If you can't see any difference here, then I advise you to visit your doctor ASAP. This could be serious.

The man is simply projecting his sexual insecurities onto blacks.

Maybe, maybe not, are you an expert?

What is there to challenge or even discuss?

Believe that race is important is deeply rooted in many cultures. You cannot dismiss it with some pseudo-psychological babble.

To Meowmeow:

What a bunch of claptrap! I must tell you that Poles and Jews were both, side by side, victims of Hitler's evil. Hitler hated the Poles and said they were a blight upon Europe. Another Nazi leader said that the Poles who survive should receive a very limited education and would exist only as slaves. Maybe you have a bone to pick with non-Jewish Poles? Maybe you're the one obsessed with race?

Talking about race/ ethnicity doesn't entail any kind of racism. As long as it's within anthropological and related realms. Hopefully you will learn to restrain your own racism to this, an your distortions of Polish history.

who told you that by judging resent news and propaganda Poles are responsible for holocaust after all the concentration camps ware Polish and at least 600 billion Jews died there and not counting another 600 billion from pogroms.

Poles and Jews were both victims of the horrors of Hitler, as well as other Slavs and the Gypsies. The Polish Christian population was treated just as horribly as the Jews and other victims. The Poles had several anti-Nazi resistance brigades, some of which even had Jewish members! Israeli Jews today I think need to have the fears of their parents stoked into them, which means being afraid of everyone including Poles. This does NOT in any way mean that Jews are bad people. Humans as a whole are bad. I have Jewish friends.

There's nothing to say at all, is there? Racism is all about insecurity.

Says the guy whose probably met a hand full of non Whites in his entire life.

Leave topics like racism for individuals who actually interact with different races on a daily basis. People aren't born racist. Racism is based mostly on personal experience. As in the only black guy in my class always wears shorts/pants around his knees forcing every single other individual to see what underwear he's wearing that day. Every single fkn day. While the rest of the class a mix of Asians, Europeans and South Americans dress like adults. As in the only people ignorant enough to bring their babies to a class lecture are black. As in their arrogant attitude even though they've never been anywhere, never done anything in their life. As in their ****** temperament while everyone else is doing the same work, during the same time and under the same guidelines.

But yes, I'm just insecure.

That's quite funny. When I worked in Africa I didn't see a white face from one month to the next, right now I'm sitting in a country where most people are very far from being white-skinned and by the way I'm from one of the most multicultural places in Europe.

People aren't born racist. Racism is based mostly on personal experience.

People aren't born racist. It comes from insecurity, unhappiness with oneself and fear of life.

So what? Does the fashion habits of others upset you often?

By the way, what sort of class are you attending?

So what? The guy is obviously a monkey if he doesn't understand the concept of clothes.

Haha where are you getting all this self hate crap from? So when blacks call each other the n-word, it's out of insecurity.

That or he has different tastes in fashion to you.

By the way, the thing with the trousers is very popular in Poland, not that you'd know that. I invite you to Warsaw one day to see.

I lived in Poland for a while and I can't confirm what you're saying. Sure, you'll always find someone who makes dumb comments but generally saying, I haven't met many Poles who talked about it but let's be honest, you didn't create this thread to discuss it, you created it to stir up some bs because you're bored ;-) I'm not saying, there's no racism in Poland but majority of those who hate other races, do it quietly, just like anywhere else.

I do not think that and I hate all forms of racism although I do pity the individuals infected with this disease because I suspect

that people who hate dont get much out of life and thats a pity.

I do think however that people sometimes feel a sense of outrage when they hear of Polish people or Jewish people
acting against minorities because of history. When you have been the victims it is as if society thinks something like

"If there is one group of people on this planet who should know better then its you".

This is false reasoning of course, we should be equally outraged by anyone - we have no right to expect the Polish or Jewish people

to act any better than anyone else, all the same I think the idea is often in the back of the mind.

There's nothing to say at all, is there? Racism is all about insecurity.

I think its a lot more than that.

Its a state of mind where the empathy we normally feel for other people gets shut down, some people
seem to find it harder to feel another persons pain when they look different. They also use dehumanising
terminology because it is much easier to say these things when you invent a word or use their nationality or race
to describe them.

The more you pidgeon hole people the easier it is to inflict pain on them, racism causes pain
it actually really really hurst people, it means they spend a whole night in bed crying as they remember what was said
about them at school. It means an immigrant father who loves his little five year old boy is worried when that boy first goes
to school because he is a minority and the father knows that his son will encounter pain and suffering and that the innocent
joy he has had in his life up to now is going to be shattered because he is about to learn an ugly truth that he will remember

and feel for the rest of his life.

When you consider that race is an accident of birth, that each of us did not work or achieve anything to be who we are and

we could so easily been born a different race, when you consider that the 'white supremacist' did nothing whatsoever to earn
or warrant his skin colour, he did not earn it, he did not work for it - No - it just happened that way - then racism really does start

to look more and more like the product of a weak and sick mind.

I would much rather meet someone who felt he was superior because of something he had achieved, I might consider him arrogant
but at least he would be able to show me something that he had actually done in order to justify his self congratulation.

They are not in fact "obsessed with race". In fact, the Poles have been the butt of jokes since time immamorial. I am half Italian, 1/4 Polish, and 1/4 Western Russian. My father was born amd raised in Casalvieri, Italy (Prov. di Frosinone, Lazio Region), and my grandparents on my mother's side are from Poland; my grandmother from Krakow and my grandfather was from a northeast town which either bordered Russian territory or was ethnically Russian. He was in fact in the Russian army and he spoke Russian, Polish, German, Italian, and English with fluency. He went awol from the Russian army when he was 20 and made his way somehow to Harrison, NJ USA, which had a large Polish population. He opened a Polish butcher shop/deli but eventually gambled it away one night while playing cards while drinking heavily. Luckily for my mother, aunts, and uncle, and my grandmother, he was able to find a job with a German-owned company because he had blonde hair and blue eyes and spoke fluent German.

I never once heard my Polish grandparents speak negatively about blacks, asians, or any other race, except for Italians, and so my father and his family did not really get along with my Polish grandparents and my Polish aunts and uncles. Since I was a half-breed, I was literally snubbed by my Italian grandparents, aunts and uncles. They saw this blonde-haired, blue-eyed Polish-looking kid with an Italian last name and they could not believe I was my father's kid. Similarly, my Polish grandparents, aunts and uncles were ashamed of my last name, which was obviously Italian, and they were insulted that I spoke fluent Italian because I spent most of my time with my father and he would lug me over to my Italian grandparent's house every day.

I was bullied in school by Irish and Italian kids, who called me all kinds of names, like "Stupid Polacc", "Pierogi", and the Irish kids called me "Dego", "Wop", "Grease Ball", and "Goombah".

I am 58 now, but those days of ethnic disparagement and bullying really left a negative mark on my psyche. But my Polish grandparents never once disparaged blacks or asians, just me, as half Italian.
