Decent Coffee to Go in Poland...

When driving in Canada, one can find a coffee shop at most major intersections (Tim Horton's is best in my opinion). It is so relaxing to sip on a coffee during a long drive....

In my two trips driving across Poland, that is what I missed most about home....

Would a drive through coffee shop (selling decent coffee) do well in Poland?

I dont know about that. People seem to like to get together for a coffee in thier house or a caffe/Restaraunt. So that seems to be where the most coffee is sold. Polsih people lead busy lives like everyone else but they dont seem to lose the ability to make time fro people

I think it's a very good idea - Poles would/will get used to visiting such shop quickly. The competition isn't strong yet, either.

Well everyone has their own opinions but I really cant see a drive through coffee shop hitting it off. A cafe or something close would work.

There are people at my work who will pass up on free "office" coffee, and go down to the local Tim's and bring back 6 coffee's for themselves and their co-workers. They are addicted to the stuff...

I don't really know about drive-thru coffee shops - whenever I am travelling, I always get my coffee in McDonald's :) (you may laugh, but it is decent) or in some restaurants on the way. There are lots of coffee shops in the city though (grab-and-go type), like Coffee Heaven or Green Coffee or Voyage...

id say the coffee shop market in Poland will explode soon - its due. They love the coffee as much as any western country and its convenience too!

I am trying to 'cut' my caffiene intake (but to be fair I drink WAY too much)

Donuts without coffee...surely you jest! :)

I miss Krispy Kreme....we don't have them out here (sigh).
I guess its a good thing....I recall that a donut is just about the worst thing a human can eat. (Poisonous combo of sugar, starch and fat.....yet oh so delicious!)

I remember vividly when Tim Horton died on the QEW. He was a great hockey player, one that we emulated as children. Now for coffee, I think to go coffee would do better in Poland if more cars had automatic transmission. I live in Krakow and don't get into my automatic transmission car without a coffee. Even this morning I was driving with a sloshing cup because I forgot my to go cup; but I did not forget my coffee.
