Good afternoon.

I am currently living in bankok and we are desperately trying to find the birth certificate of my grandmother who was born in poland about 100 years ago.

My mother lives in Australia and we have been messed around by 2 agencies who said they would help us.All they have done is take our money and thats all!

I am calling on either lawyers or specialists in this area of ancestry research to contact me.We will firstly meet with the potential person in Poland and if we decide to commence then natuarly we will arrange a financial sum to be organised for the right candidate.

The interested parties should be educated and have polish ancestry themselves, preferably live in poland. They should also have a strong desire in wanting to complete this mission as quickly as possible for us.So this is a message for all ambitious polish laywers, researchers and potenial candidates who want to prove themselves. No time wasters please

I look forward to your reply.

Best regards

Adam

Adam,

This post might come a bit late.

The first reason that you have problems is because the Poland of today is not the Poland of 100 years ago.

You might find that it is better to go the German route.

You can do most of the work yourself on the internet and then ask someone to help you purchase a certificate of birth.

If you answer this I'll give you more help.

P.S I don't charge a fee

Adam,

I'm sure the Guest is absolutely right.
Please tell us the location of your grandmother burth, her confession and it will be easier to give you an advice in which state (Poland, Ukraine or Belarus or Lithuania) you should look for birth rartes as well as correspondent archive. People there will take less money if they know approximately a year and onle very few possible parishes.
I had a similar situation in Belarus (Grodno and Oszmjany)
