I am from Lodz...although I dont need to move alot from here.

However, my response to your enquiry: I think bus is ideal. You cannot just cycle (as that is the only thing you dont seem to have problem with). Really... start thinking BUS.

I think that there's going to be a fast train between Warsaw and Lódz, which should make It in little over 1h but not sooner than in 2 years.

yes I knew that ,too bad mean while will move to live there if find a cheap flat .I wonder will take two years to make 134 Km of tracks , and Lodz is a major trade center lot of big companies , they shoud have another train company not run by the state to improve things better .

Sorry to break the news, but I think you really are going to have to relocate. 3hrs commuting is that one way or there and back? Either way, it will take a lot out of you to commute so much, it will effectively end any social life you might wish to have during the week. Bite the bullet and relocate.

Not bad. I'm a local...I know... and its not bad money ... just need to select carefully... and I think you will find the right one in the right location in Lodz.

Right well seemingly there are not a huge amount of flats on offer in the centrum, but there are few (have only checked one site so far), baluty does seem to have alot to offer. What size are you looking for 1 or 2 bedrooms? 30 sqm or 40 or what?
